UA926 Los Angeles (LAX) - San Francisco (SFO)
Date: 10 September 2005
Departure (scheduled): 13:10
Arrival (scheduled): 14:31
Aircraft: Boeing 737-300
Cabin: Economy
Seat: 16B

Check-in at SFO was easy again and I was able to waitlist for this earlier flight from one 45 minutes later that I had originally booked. I was well in time and I figured that this would ease any problems by giving me extra time at LAX, as I had to collect baggage, change terminals etc.

I sat in the SFO Red Carpet Club, which I found similarly lacking to the LAX equivalent, although it was perfectly comfortable and afforded great views over the apron and runway. When I got to the gate, I was relieved to learn that I was able to get on this earlier flight and was given seat 15B, an ordinary economy middle seat which I would normally avoid like the plague, but I was happy to take it given the earlier arrival in LAX.

The flight was fairly full and push back was on time. After take-off another quick drink round was conducted, although I almost got some for free as the guy sitting next to me's drink in the overhead locker exploded and started coming through the ceiling .

The flight passed without much note and we were soon landing into LAX and a quick taxi to the terminal. The baggage came out much more quickly this time and I was on my way to the Tom Bradley International Terminal in no time.
