Hilton San Francisco

I had initially intended to stay in the IC Mark Hopkins again, but due to cost, reduction of status and the bmi miles trick, I went for the Hilton. At check-in I was given two free breakfast vouchers, even though I had been given Executive lounge access - I guessed this was because the lounge breakfast wasn't up to much, although I didn't try it to find out (the breakfast in the main cafe was very good).

I was situated on the 42nd floor with nice views over the west of San Francisco, out towards the Pacific, with the Golden Gate Bridge visible to the north and the Twin Peaks to the south west. The room was a disabled access room, which was somewhat interesting, particularly the bathroom. Also it was quite near the lifts which were somewhat noisy although situated over the other side of the corridor. Generally though the room was a pretty standard room although the bed was very comfortable.

Executive Lounge

I only went once to the lounge and it proved to be very busy - I was lucky to get a seat by the window with great views of downtown San Francisco and down onto the hotel pool area. Due to it being busy, I didn't get any photos, but here are some of the view.
